# Import Reservations to KAI

## Import offline reservations by using Copy & Paste

Who is recommended to use this “IMPORT” Reservation function

-Hotel which has plenty of rooms. Or

-PMS allows export Booking Detail Report.

 

#### 1. Choose "Import" to upload reservations.

We recommend the “Copy & Paste” method which gives you more flexibility.

#### 2. Prepare Reservations

Download the template to understand which fields are mandatory in a booking report, and the format of each field.

#### 3. Copy Reservations

Once filled up the booking information, copy all fields without a header from the file.

#### 4. Paste Reservations

Paste the copied fields into KAI. Ensure all fields you would like to import are shown before you go to the “MATCH COLUMNS” process.

#### 5. Match Fields

MATCH the imported fields with Header and “SAVE” or Skip the field. Please be noted that if you chose “SKIP” that means this field will not be imported.

#### 6. Validate Data

VALIDATE the matched fields. Once matched with all fields, click “VALIDATE” to proceed with data validation.

#### 7. Import Data

IMPORT the validated data. Once passed data validation, click “START IMPORT” to upload bookings.

#### 8. SUCCESS.

You will see this page if your reservations are successfully imported.
